Join us for the return of Perchfest with live music, craft beer from Starr Hill, the Perch Putt Open — and a throwback twist!

Capital One Center’s signature festival returns Friday, May 3rd & Saturday, May 4th featuring putt putt, live music, craft beer from Starr Hill Biergarten, fitness classes, Made in Fairfax’s pop-up shop presented by Celebrate Fairfax, and so much more. Throwback theme: The Perch will be decked out with retro games and guests are encouraged to wear 80’s and 90’s attire for retro fun! Back by popular demand, the Perch Putt Open will kick-off the weekend festivities on Friday, May 3rd.

Perchfest is open to the public and free to attend, with a recommended donation to Miriam’s Kitchen. Guests are encouraged to register in advance and make a donation. Expect the same energy and vibe as previous Perchfest weekends with 15,000 attendees over the weekend. Capital One Hall’s pop-up box office will be open and The Watermark Hotel’s Cherry Blossom Installation will be in full bloom for guests who missed the DC Cherry Blossoms.

New street level experience: Capital One Center has expanded its retail and dining options on street level with opportunities to enjoy lunch or dinner at Ometeo or Wegmans (both currently open), as well as new restaurant additions Stellina Pizzeria and Starr Hill Brew Pub (opening in late April).

Saturday, May 4th

11:00am – FitCoach Caroline HIIT & Hops at Starr Hill Biergarten (free fitness class, no registration needed!)

12:00pm and 3:00pm – Marymount takes on Marywood at Capital One Park with a double header (located across the street from The Perch)

12:00pm-7:00pm – Celebrate Fairfax presents the Made in Fairfax Pop-up Shop featuring local makers and artisans

2:00pm – The 19th Street Band at Starr Hill Biergarten

4:00pm – Wegmans-sponsored pie eating contests

4:00pm-7:00pm – “May the Derby be with you” Kentucky Derby Event at Wren (separate registration required, more details coming soon!)

6:00pm – Kleptoradio at Starr Hill Biergarten

10:00pm – JJ Rupp Band at StarrHill Brew Pub (Perchfest after dark atStarr Hill’s newly opened Brew Pub located below Starr Hill Biergarten on street level!)

Price: Tickets are free through Eventbrite and there is a suggested donation to Miriam’s Kitchen.

About Miriam’s Kitchen: Miriam’s Kitchen, located in Foggy Bottom, serves those who are experiencing homelessness and food insecurity. Their mission is to end chronic and veteran homelessness, and they do this through a number of direct services: meals, social services, street outreach, and case management support for permanent supportive housing; along with system change work to reduce barriers, increase awareness, and secure support for known housing solutions.
