Midwinter Meltdown is the primary focus and almost annual fundraiser for the Pirates of the Potomac, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Several hundred tropical music fans travel from around the country and gather at the Pirates Tiki Bar to fend off their collective midwinter blues while enjoying great live musical entertainment Friday evening, all day Saturday and at the Sunday morning “Drunkwriter’s Brunch” as well as dinner on Friday and Saturday, appetizers and snacks throughout the weekend, and brunch on Sunday.
Each guest receives a personalized commemorative Midwinter Meltdown 2023 lanyard.
Most guest participate in the raffles and silent auctions to support our philanthropic efforts.
