Dream Discs pays tribute to two of rock and rolls’ most cherished classics; Van Morrison’s “Moondance” and Bruce Springsteen’s “The Wild, The Innocent & The E Street Shuffle”. These two albums released in the early 70’s established Springsteen Morrison as FM radio favorites and catapulted them to their rightful places among music’s greatest songwriters. These records have long been both critics and popular favorites and contain some of their best loved songs including ‘Rosalita’, ‘Kitty’s Back’ & 4thof July Asbury Park(Sandy) and Caravan, Crazy Love and Into The Mystic. Each set will also feature a couple bonus songs from the artists classic era. Dream Discs is a rare opportunity to experience two career defining albums with all the trimmings including a horn section, backing singers and violin. The show features stunning vocal and instrumental performances by 20 of the DC areas’ brightest stars, and has been playing to sold out crowds since its2013 debut, the first Newmyer Flyer show to be performed.
