DESCRIPTION:The NOT TO BE MISSED music event is back! Our annual benefit concert welcomes back to Maryland’s premier horse farm\, The 19th Street Band and Patty Reese on the front lawn at our Arts & Education Pavilion affectionately called “The Hitching Post”. This year’s concert will celebrate our 36 year history in equine welfare. Enjoy popular food trucks\, beer & wine\, lawn games\, and farm tours to meet our rescue horses – there is something for the whole family!! \nBook a day out in the country (at our Woodbine\, MD facility) and watch the sunset over our fields\, while swaying to the music of arguably one of the best groups of musicians in the area! Enjoy yourself while knowing ALL money raised goes to the horses and allows us to continue our life-saving work in the community. \nWhat can I expect? \n– Great music by The 19th St Band and Patty Reese Band\n– 3 popular food trucks serving the best of food truck gastronomy\n– Hops for Horses Beer Garden serving seasonal brews and wine\n– Tours of the farm to see firsthand the great work DEFHR does\n– Shopping area featuring the latest DEFHR swag and silent auction items\n– Lawn games for family fun\n– Fire pits & s’mores \n3:30PM: Gates Open\n4:00PM-6:00PM: Patty Reese Band\n6:00PM-Close: The 19th Street Band \nFood trucks joining us are:\nJimmy’s Seafood\nAll Fired Up Brick Oven Pizza\nGlamourview Creamery \nEarly Bird Special – $30/person (Until September 1st)\nGeneral Admission – $35/person\nAt the gate – $40/person\nKids 12 and under are free \nPARKING entrance is at the adjacent former Lisbon Firehouse and is 1st come 1st serve until the lots are FULL!
