DESCRIPTION:For over 30 years\, In The Street has been a proud Frederick tradition held along Market Street and Carroll Creek Urban Park.  In 2017\, we thank our locally owned and operated DARCARS Toyota of Frederick for their support of our annual event. \nThe festival began in 1983 after major renovations closed Market Street for several months.  When the dust settled Mayor Ron Young decided to hold a festival for the entire community to encourage reinvestment in downtown.  The Festival was held in the street\, so the naming of the event was simple. That first In The Street festival boasted 10\,000 in attendance.  Today\, In The Street attracts crowds of over 75\,000. \nIn The Street continues to invite attendees to explore historic downtown Frederick\, while offering a sampling of the diverse food\, entertainment\, art and non-profit resources that thrive in Frederick County. \nIn The Streets

For three nights — July 20\, August 3 and August 17 — 201 Bar will showcase a different band and a different country — Brazil\, Cambodia and Uganda — served by water.org. There is no cover charge\, however donations are encouraged. Your $20 donation includes your chalice\, your first Stella Artois and admission to the show! Doors open at 5\, the concerts run from 6 to 9 pm. Light fare and drink specials will be offered. DESCRIPTION:West Virginia Cares Festival is a new regional event celebrating all that we CARE about this great Mountain State. \nWE CARE about our people\, our veterans\, our culture\, our environment\, our history\, our talent and our future. \nThe event highlights Appalachian music\, dance\, arts\, crafts\, foods and the hospitality of mountain folk. \nThe event will benefit the West Virginia Chapter of the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association\, a group of combat veterans who raise funds for other veteran programs and their national amputee program and Friends of the Cheat\, a non-profit founded in 1995 to restore\, preserve and promote the natural qualities of the Cheat River watershed. \nThe two-day event features nearly a dozen music groups\, arts and crafts\, food vendors\, a motorcycle show and many other activities. \nA Bike Photo competition\, sponsored by Triple S Harley Davidson in Morgantown\, includes a ride through the region and culminates at the festival grounds on Saturday. \n8/11: 7:00 – 8:30pm The 19th Street Band
