DESCRIPTION:THE HOMETOWN GET DOWN \nSept. 21 – 22\, 2018​ \nThe Hometown Get Down\, is an annual music and arts festival. \nThe main purpose of The Hometown Get Down is to help families in crisis through promoting the arts. \nEvent proceeds as always will go to benefit: \nThe Bernie House. The mission of The Bernie House is to “provide a safe home without violence for families in crisis\,” \nThe Bernie House is a transitional housing program for families fleeing domestic violence. The program house is located in Silver Spring\, MD and aids families in need from the metropolitan area. \nTo learn more about the charity please visit www.theberniehouse.org \nWith the support of party goers like YOU we are proud to announce that last year\, with your\, The Bernie House was able to pay off its first program house and is ready to open its second house! \nPlease join us September 21 & 22\, 2018 as we party with a purpose! \n  \nLIVE MUSIC\, ART\, FOOD\, DRINK\, CAMPING and MORE. \nLocated at: 11820 Hawkes Rd.
